RGV Rajinikanth Controversy: Maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has once again stirred controversy with his sharp remarks, this time targeting Tamil superstar Rajinikanth. During a recent Bollywood interview, Varma opined that Rajinikanth owes his stardom to slow-motion shots, implying that without them, he might not have become a superstar.

Varma, known for his outspoken nature, stated,
“Acting is about how you portray a character. I don’t know if Rajinikanth is a good actor because he couldn’t have played Bhiku Mhatre in ‘Satya.’ If not for slow-motion scenes, Rajinikanth as a star might not have existed.”

These comments did not sit well with Rajinikanth’s fans, who took to social media to express their outrage.
“If you don’t know Rajini’s acting, watch his classics. He’s both a great actor and a superstar,” a fan commented.

Varma’s remarks have gone viral, with fans defending their ‘Thalaiva’ and slamming the director for his ‘ignorant’ comments. This is not the first time Varma has found himself in hot water. He has often taken digs at the Mega family, including Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan, and more recently, Allu Arjun.
As the controversy rages on, Kollywood fans have urged Varma to revisit Rajinikanth’s films before passing judgment. With his latest film ‘Saaree’ set to release soon, many wonder if this is yet another publicity stunt by the director. Whatever the case, Varma’s comments have once again sparked a fan war, keeping social media buzzing.
